Jeff Leeson - Host

Jeff Leeson is a talented stand-up comedian and actor from London, Ontario, Canada. Jeff was bitten by the comedy bug after receiving a standing ovation for his grade 8 valedictorian speech. Jeff stepped on a comedy club stage for the first time when he was 14 years old and never looked back.
 
At the age of 16, just 2 years into his stand up comedy career, Jeff finished second in the “Funniest Person in London” competition at the 2001 Canadian Comedy Awards. He was the youngest finalist in the competition's history. In 2003, Jeff embarked on his first headlining tour, hitting up 11 cities across Ontario. In 2004, Jeff was selected as one of only 20 participants in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition and advanced into the quarter finals. In 2007, Jeff began his very first North American tour, encompassing 10 states in all. 
 
After touring, he released his long awaited and much anticipated debut DVD in 2009 entitled “Jeff Leeson: Just Getting Started”. Jeff's laid back, observational, and personal approach to humour leaves every crowd wanting more. Jeff has been described as "a breath of fresh air on stage" and as "a natural performer" by several colleagues.

Now, after 11 years of touring every province and state performing stand up comedy, Jeff embarks on a new venture as the host of "London Tonight with Jeff Leeson". Jeff says "It has been a long road to get here, but it has been worth every bump. I have been in this game for 11 years but I'm just getting warmed up. I am excited to be a part of this show and to be working with such a talented group of people. I truly feel like together there is nowhere we can't go".

Al Val - Writer/Performer

AL was born and raised in the small town of Whitby, Ontario, Canada, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy on June 47th in the year pi AD. He was raised by a pack of cigarettes and unlike most children born into a world of privilege, AL had to earn his face and limbs through hard work and sacrifice as a mannequin at Zellers; consequently, at an early age AL knew he wasn't just another face in the crowd.

After his stint at Zellers, AL started up his own pawn shop but the business ran dry quickly, proving that you can't make a living selling a specific chess piece. After training under ventriloquist monks he learned various legendary voice techniques, and to this day throws his voice at the homeless and bad movies.

When AL went back in time to the age of 8 he accidentally snorted a tube of chapstick which currently stimulates the randomus callosum portion of his cortex, causing him to frumpleguns melon tire oakvessel PHRNT. AL is also the current world leader in being the subject of 911 phone calls because of the common misinterpretation of "I have a balm on me."

Al drinks his wine out of a tupperware with a ladle. He can't lick his elbow but will lick yours at a reasonable price.

Lars Classington - Announcer

Born In Orillia, Ontario, Lars began his comedy career by developing his own YouTube comedy channel (www.youtube.com/larsclassington) which features comedic raps, cartoons, standup, and sketch comedy. Lars´ most popular video is his comedic rap ¨Im a White Guy¨, which has been featured on the Comedy Network.  After gaining notoriety online, Lars took the leap to live comedy in November 2009 by stepping on the stage at London YukYuks.

It was clear from his first set that making audiences laugh is what Lars was born to do. Since that first set, Lars has entertained audiences across Ontario performing his unique standup act. After just 3 months of wowing audiences with standup, Lars was asked to join "London Tonight with Jeff Leeson" as a writer and sketch comedy performer. Soon after joining the team, he was asked to expand his role by becoming the show's announcer; another role he was born to fill.

Critics have remarked at the uncanny timing and chemistry that Lars and Jeff share on the show as they develop into one of television´s most unique comedic duos. Oh and one more thing...yes ladies...he´s single!

Ezz Fadel - Producer/Writer

Producer/Writer Ezz Fadel came charging into the entertainment business with guns blazing, getting his foot in the door initially as Jeff Leeson's manager.

After a year of working with Jeff in the world of standup comedy and tv/film, Ezz decided to put his own talents to the test by writing and performing his own standup comedy all over Ontario. While making people laugh with his aggressive comedy, in addition to handling the business end of things, Ezz has gained a reputation of a man who "gets things done". He now plays a pivotal role in the production of "London Tonight with Jeff Leeson."  

You can see Ezz featured in many of the show's comedic sketches and if you see him backstage he's probably yelling at someone for not doing their job properly.
